Is he into me or is it just a hookup? i really need advice?

I have been talking to this guy for about 6 months. We have become really good friends and tell each other everything. I have started to see him more then a friend and we always flirt and talk. He is single and he asked me to give him a bj and other things. I dont want to be used and im not sure if he's really into me. i told him that i like him and asked him if he was into me or just wanted a hook up. he told me he wasnt sure how he felt "he just got out of a really bad breakup" i really dont know what to do. i need some advice :/
